These classes may help deepen your yoga practice, or perhaps help you start a yoga self-practice. I am inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli and my teacher Diane Long to have a more intuitive lead hatha yoga practice where the body is treated with kindness, no pushing or bracing just an undoing of tensions, allowing for both the body and mind to awaken, become more balanced and connected, so you find ease in the movements which may lead to a yoga pose or something else.
It all sounds very simple, which it is, if we allow it and don’t start repeating patterns of pushing and bracing to get the pose at all costs. It is more about undoing and listening, so the body can guide you as to how to work with and also against gravity leading to more freedom and choices for your body/mind.
