Somatic orientated Pilates/Yoga classes
Being a Pilates teacher and a Scaravelli-inspired yoga teacher for many years, and now a qualified Somatics teacher, I have designed a class that will focus on whole-body movement so that we can help our bodies become more functional, balanced, flexible and strong.
Improving your breath and awareness of how you breathe, through these exercises, can impact your mind and improve your whole being and outlook to life. Breaking down exercises into smaller motor skills and postural adjustments helps to improve core strength, body alignment and allows the body to move with more ease, balance and vitality.
By becoming more aware of how we move and breathe, we can help ourselves cope with stress, anxiety and tiredness, bringing the whole body into a state of balance and stillness.
Balance in the body brings balance to the mind.
Mondays from 6.00-7.00 pm for 8 weeks – 29 April to 1 July £90
Thursdays 10.30 to 11.30 am for 9 weeks – 2 May to 27 June £100
